Paulo Muller

Paulo Müller is an IT Senior Executive with over 26 years of experience and is currently the Owner and Strategic Planning Director with Ascalon Health Business, a company dedicated to promoting the alignment between IT and business management and strategic planning for the health/medical industry that is able to build a fully integrated IT transformation project and take care of all the deliverables. Mr. Müller was the Chief Information Officer with CPM Braxis between 2003 and 2007 where he was responsible for a US$20M/year budget covering continuous managed services for customers such as Carrefour, Embratel, and Telemar among others and for implementing an international service center. During his professional career, he has gained experience in project management (PMI), service delivery management (ITIL), continuous improvement (SIX SIGMA) and corporate governance (COBIT) as well as spending time managing several compliance and SOX, SAS 70, ISO 9000 and ISO 17799 corporate projects. He has a Masters degree (MSc) in Artificial intelligence acquired at UFRJ – Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro in 1992 and MBA acquired at FGV – Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2007.
